Michael Lloyd Faries

Michael L. Faries, 59, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 while at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He was born on March 4, 1954 in Dallas, TX. Mike grew up in Mesquite, TX. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1972. He was a Texas Master Certified Nurseryman as well as he reached the sublime degree of Master Mason with the Free Mason and the 32nd Degree with Scottish Rite. Mike enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending quality time with family and friends. Mike married his love, Jaye, on August 3, 2007. They were happily married for 6 years. Mike was currently employed by The Home Depot in Wylie, TX but has also worked at the Rowlett, TX and Mesquite, TX stores. Mike also worked at Wolfe Nursery in Mesquite for many years. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Mae Cunningham and Donald Gene Faries as well as an older brother, Donnie Faries. Mike is survived by his wife; Jaye, stepmother; Shirley Faries, brothers; Ronald and Terry Faries, 4 step-children,4 step-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 3 nephews and many more beloved family members and friends. There will be a viewing service held at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 US HWY 80, Sunnyvale, TX from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, January 31, 2014.
