Preceded in death by parents, Lewis Oliver McVay & Lucile Rose McVay; brothers, Malcolm Scott McVay, Lewis Oliver McVay, Jr.; sister, Nancy Rose O'Neill. Survived by wife of 61 years, Catherine Arlene McVay; children, Melvin Roberts McVay, Jr. & wife, Tiffany McVay, Catherine "Cami" Arlene Mackey & husband, Ray H. Mackey, Jr.; grandchildren, Melinda & Bryan Gerlach, Kristen Mackey, Katie & Kirk Jones, Kevin & Chelsey Mackey, Kelsey McVay, Keaton Short & Khloe Short; great grandchild, Connor Mackey. Service will be2:00PM - Saturday January 17, 2015 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 1:00PM - 2:00PM. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia.
