Megan Lee Bjork February 19, 1931 - January 9, 2006 Megan was born to Martha and Earl Panabaker and was the youngest of six children. She grew up in the farming community of Dalton, NE, later moving with the family to Denver, CO.Megan lost her brother, Richard, in a drowning accident when she was eight. She lost her brother, Bob, and both parents, later in life. Megan married William "Bill" Bjork in 1978 and happily added his young children, Amy and John, to her brood. We shouldn't brag, but she really was the very best mother in the whole world. You can't imagine how great it was to be one of her kids. Megan was the most fun loving person and she loved to travel, fish, play games, sew, work crossword puzzles, spend time with her family, garage sale, e-bay, and paint. She was a very talented artist. She had one of the most curious minds ever. She had the most wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing right up to the end of her life.To know her was just to have a special kind of light in your life. She had a huge and generous heart and we will miss her so much. Megan was diagnosed with lung cancer in October of 2005 and she put up a great fight against this terrible disease. But, at 3:00 a.m. on January 9, 2006, she simply stopped breathing and peacefully went to be with the Lord. She has a message for you, if you smoke, please stop. Megan came from a very long line of people whose hearts were devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ. She taught us all so much and was always faithfully pointing us to the Lord as our source of strength and direction. We have no doubt whatsoever that she is with the Lord at this very moment and that, we who believe on the Lord Jesus for salvation will see her again someday. This separation is not forever; it is simply a blip in time once we get started on eternity! It would be Megan's deepest desire to know that all of her friends and family will meet her again someday, for eternity, with Christ. If you are not certain about your eternity, please, please talk to any of her immediate family anytime, now or in the future.
