Maxie Britt

Maxie Britt was born on February 9, 1937 and passed away on January 4, 2020. Maxie is survived by his wife Kaye Britt; children: Carol Renfro, Sharon Miles and husband Thomas, Kelly Bumgardner and husband Eddie, Lisa Hartwick and husband Troy, Shelly Chadwick, Maxie Britt, Jr. and wife Amy; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Harris Britt and wife Jo; sisters: Patsy Williams, Brenda Ingram, Glenda Candy, and many nieces and nephews. Maxie is preceded in death by his parents: Ben and Goldie Britt; and sister, Helen Carrell. Maxie retired after 52 years from Olmsted-Kirk Paper. In his spare time he loved fishing, hunting at the deer lease, the Texas Rangers and car races, but most of all he loved his family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Down Syndrome Guild or VNA Hospice 1600 Viceroy Suite 400 Dallas, Texas c/o Cynthia Nitschke.
