Matthew J Newman

Matthew J Newman was called home to be with the Lord October 5, 2017.He was born July 15, 1955 to Donnie and Sally Newman.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cindy Newman Winn.Matthew was a loving husband, father, and soon-to-be grandfather. He is survived in life by his wife, Annette Newman; his children, Kelsey Gallerani (Ryan Gallerani), Katherine Newman, and Samuel Newman; his brother, Mark Newman; and countless friends and family members. He was also the proud uncle to 14 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. Matthew was a strong and independent man that spent the better part of his life providing for his family and supporting those he knew and loved. He will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, strong work-ethic, and intense love for his family. As an avid car enthusiast, he could be found on any given day watching shows about cars, car repair, and car racing.He loved to tease those he cared about, and he was excited to become the world’s best grandfather. He loved to laugh and make others laugh because he was forever a child at heart. A visitation service is scheduled at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale on Thursday, October 12th from 5 – 7 PM. A memorial service will be held at the same location on Saturday, October 14th at noon. Please join us in celebrating Matt’s life and legacy.
