Mary Lou Williams

MARY LOU WHITE WILLIAMS was born September 2, 1933 in Tyler, Texas, the only child of Richard& Lillian White. She graduated from Forest Avenue High School in 1951. Mary Lou married her childhood sweetheart (from 1st grade), Ben David Williams on May 2, 1953. After Ben left the Air Force in 1955, they moved with their first two children, Ben David, Jr. and Karen Dianne, to Mesquite, Texas and lived their 60 years of marriage in the first house they bought in 1956. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ben D. Williams, her father and mother, and her stepfather.Mary also lost a newborn son James Darren Williams in 1961. Mary is survived by her four children:Ben David Williams, Jr.,Edgewood, TX; Karen Dianne Harris and her husband Randy Harris, Mesquite, TX; Sheryl Denise Miller, Mesquite, TX; Mark Douglas Williams and his wife Barbara Williams; Albuquerque, NM. Also survived by her grandchildren:Amy Lynne Morris, her husband Paul, Dirk Lee Williams, his wife Amanda, Nicholas Shane Harris, his wife Adrea, Blake Langley Williams, his wife Connie,Linda Lou Alvarado, her husband Alex,Meredith Blair Miller, Bennett Warren Miller, Cheyenne Layla Williams, Sarah Lizabeth Williams, Sara Duck, her husband Paul, Daniel Duck, his wife Miranda and Stephanie Duck.Great grandchildren include Benjamin, William and Rhett Morris:Ethan and Jack Williams; Rayen Chavez; Dahlia Duck and Charlie Muttitt. Mary was passionate about her family.Her other loves included reading,dancing, and spending time with her husband.. Mary passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 23, 2014.She is now at home with her Lord and the love of her life, Ben!
