Mary Mae McDaniel

McDaniel, Mary Mae, 81, of Edgewood, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2008. She was born April 14, 1927 to W. P. & Dora McEvoy. She graduated from Forest Avenue High School with honors. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edgewood. She was also a member of the Board Elwood Home Extension Club and had served as a member of the Edgewood Cemetery Club. She loved and cherished her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 56 years, John W. McDaniel. She is survived by daughters, Sandy Young & husband, Bill, Joy Vike & husband, Rod; son, John McDaniel, Jr. & wife, Pam; grandchildren, Clint, Will & Shawn Young, Rodney Vike & wife, Wendi, Chris Vike & wife, Julie, Dustin Dean & wife, Lori, Paige & Brooke McDaniel; great grandchildren, Hannah, Stephanie, Trevor, Baylie, Emalie, Madison & Ben Vike. Service will be 1:00PM Wednesday September 17, 2008 at New Hope Funeral Home, with Bro. Dan Carroll & Bro. Lanny Elmore officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Interment will be in Long Creek Cemetery in Sunnyvale.
