Mary Ella Key McCollum was born on September 28, 1924 and passed away on August 21, 2017. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Claude Patrick McCollum; parents: Charles B. Key, Marie Key Rogers; brothers, Charles B. Key, Preston Key; sister, Virginia Dare Key; daughter, Janis McCollum Walker and grandson, Larry S. Coleman. Mary is survived by her children: Patricia and Mike King, Sharon and Rudy Valle, Shawn and Teresa McCollum, Kevin Walker; grandchildren: Misty and Randy Tarver, Kristal Fortney, Chad King, Kristin and Emily Valle, Mari Walker, Cody and Carissa Valle, Cooper McCollum, Kendall McCollum; great grandchildren: Samuel Fortney, Michael King, Madison King, Alyssa Valle, Harvey Tarver and faithful caregiver, Donna Mallard. A visitation will be held for Mary on Friday August 25, 2017 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas with Funeral Service starting at 2:00PM. Interment will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
