Marvis Merle Godfrey

GODFREY, Marvis Merle of Mesquite, born March 1, 1929, passed away March 1, 2006. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest & Eula Godfrey of McLean, TX.; brother, Don Dwain Godfrey of Florida. Survived by wife of 47 years, Gladys Godfrey; children, Linda Spence & husband, Bob, Edwin Godfrey & wife, Billie, Kimley Godfrey, Alan Godfrey & wife, Anne; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. He was an active member of Highland Oaks Church of Christ where memorial services were held in his honor.He was also an active member of Goodbar Senior Citizens Center Memorial service will be 2:30PM Sunday March 5, 2006 at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ, 10805 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX. 75238.
