Mark Alan Hardman, Sr. March 25, 1955 - August 24, 2017 Mark Alan Hardman Sr., son of William H. and Vada J. Hardman, was born on March 25, 1955 and passed away after a fierce battle with cancer on August 24, 2017. Mark is survived by his wife, Lois Hardman, children, Mark Hardman Jr. and Starla Howell, along with their respective spouses Carolina Hardman and Casey Howell.He will also be greatly missed by his eight grandchildren,Jesus, Chris, Austin, Isabella, Sophia, Addilyn, Avery and Lily Aniston as well as his dog Bear and cats Suzy and Garfield. Mark is also survived by a large extended family including a nephew, several nieces, great nieces, great nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws among many others. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Vada J. Hardman. Mark was a Seagoville resident since 1983. He grew up in Belpre, Ohio, graduated from Belpre High School class of 1973. He played baseball, football, basketball and ran track. He loved the band and played the tuba. He grew up with his parents love and strict guidance, he was the Preacher's son. Mark served his country during the Vietnam War in the U. S. Navy from 1974 -1978. Then met the love of his life Lois Pollard. They married 06-17-1978 in a beautiful Garden Wedding in Garland, TX. He worked as a Jack of all trades including a/c, mechanical and vehicle repair and maintenance to name a few.There was not much he didn't know how to do. He had PASSION for working with his hands and was ALWAYS willing to lend his. In his later years he worked at the Forney Walmart for 11 years. Mark's character, values and personality is what we will all miss the most. He was patient, kind, and loved and accepted all people. He was crazy about animals, children and loved his Harley Davidson bike where he could feel the wind blowing in his long curly hair. He was a faithful, honest, and hard working family man who had a calmness about him that brought peace. He was very loyal and proud of the life he built for himself and his family. A value he would want to live on is his silly sense of humor and his love for making all of us laugh. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday evening, August 30, 2017, at 7pm at Mulberry Park 751 S Bois D Arc St, Forney, TX 75126. In lieu of flowers please donate to Wounded Warrior Project.
