Mark Everett Evans was a beloved son, brother, uncle, & friend. He was born in Dallas, Texas on August 24, 1959. He went home to his Lord and Savior at his home in Forney, Texas on October 6, 2020. Mark attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, Texas and obtained his bachelor's degree at Centenary College Louisiana.

He was an avid traveler, loved helping people, never met a stranger, and had a passion for studying family genealogy. He was also well known by his family and friends for his random acts of kindness.

He is survived by his mother Opal Jeanell (Fugitt) Evans, his two sisters & their spouses, Janet & Frank Torres and Debra & Jimmy Lanham, his nieces & nephews Stephanie Cogburn, Jeffrey Torres, Mellissa Barrett, Andy Torres, Jimmy Lanham II, Chelsea White, and Harold Lanham, along with twenty-one great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Harold George Evans and grandparents Andy & Mittie Evans and John & Opal Fugitt.
