FINLEY, Mrs. H. D. (Marie) born in Waco, TX. on November 3, 1912, passed away December 20, 2004. She married Herman D. Finley, Jr. on November 29, 1930. She was a charter member of Casa Linda United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, H. D. Finley, Jr.; parents, Mr. & Mrs. E. H. Banks; 2 brothers, 1 sister, grandchildren, Phillip Brad Finley, James Deitrich Finley. Survived by daughter, Marianne Blackwell & husband, Dr. David Blackwell;sons, Rev. Dr. James L. Finley & wife, Alice; H. E. Finley & wife, Carole; grandsons, James Herman (Chip) Finley & wife, Jennifer, Jeffrey Blackwell, & Steve Blackwell; granddaughters, Marinel Baker & husband, Barry,Beth Winger & husband, Lance,Marty Samaniego & husband, Isaac, Diana Coats & husband Bill, and 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; one sister, two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 2:00PM Wednesday December 22, 2004, at Eastridge Park Christian Church, 2701 Town East Blvd., Mesquite, TX. 75150 with Rev. Dan Carroll officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening at Eastridge Park Christian Church from 6:30PM - 8:00PM. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude and love to Bro.
