Maria Alvarez

Maria (Lulu) Alvarez was born on March 4, 1956 in Toluca, Mexico. She went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2017 (died of natural causes). She was a dialysis patient for over 8 years while battling many other health issues. Maria worked at Home Interiors & Gifts for over 15 years. She started as a warehouse worker and ended her career there as a data entry clerk. Maria was a single mother of two; she often worked up to three jobs just to provide for her children: Ruben and Laura. Maria loved to cook, listen to music, dance, and spend time with her grandchildren. Maria had the biggest heart; she opened up her home to countless friends and family. She welcomed them with open arms, and helped them get back on their feet when they needed it. She would do it out of the kindness of her heart and never asked for anything in return. Maria is proceeded in death by her parents Alfonso Gonzalez, Angela Alvarez, and brother Alfonso Gonzalez II. Maria is survived by Son: Ruben Alvarez and wife: Griselda Daughter: Laura Alvarez and fianc: Ramon Mendez Grandchildren: Jordan Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Jayden Garcia, and Victoria Alvarez Brothers: Erasmo Gonz¡lez and Guillermo Gonzalez Sister: Gloria Corona and husband Javier. Also by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews here in the U.S. as well as in Mexico City. And many many friends.
