Margie Marie Johns

JOHNS, Margie Marie Cameronof Forney, was born to Robert & Eva Cameron June 16, 1921 in Altus, OK., She passed into the Lord's presence on Father's DayJune 21, 2009. She was the youngest of 7 children. Margie went to Oklahoma Baptist University; she took flying lessons aa young adult and worked for the Texas Highway Dept. until retiring and then enjoyed traveling with her husband, Richard Johns until his death. She was very active with the ARC and served as their president in Wichita Falls. She also loved to go to the Senior Center and play games. She has had Alzheimer's for about 10 years, and has also been blind for several years. Preceded in death by brothers, C. W., Floyd, Troy & Earl Cameron; sister, Ella Maye Crawford. She has one surviving sister, Rubye Robinson. Survived by children, Connie Wade, Deena Harvey & husband, Larry; grandchildren, Beth Knights & husband, John, Danny Chapman & wife, Janet, Amy Hall & husband, Mike, Jennifer Schreiber & husband, Derek, Melody Mattox & husband, Jerry, Joshua Harvey & wife, Michelle; 19 great grandchild; 1 great great granddaughter; sister, Rubye Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 2:00PM Wednesday June 24 2009 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends Wednesday morning from noon to 2:00PM. Interment will be 11:00AM Thursday June 25, 2009 at Crestview Memorial Park, Wichita Falls, TX.
