Preceded in death by husband, John Milton Smith, married June 9, 1945, and passed away October 14, 1957; sister, Barbara Masterson; brother, Robert Griggs. Married James David McDaniel June 24, 1966. Survived by husband, David McDaniel of Tyler; daughters: Gloria "Dody" Beeler & husband, Arthur of Tyler; Shirley Spainhower of Forney; Beverly Hargrove & husband, James of Forney; 6 grandchildren; Mark Alan Beeler, Dana Sheryl Wood, Jina Christine Schaff, John Wesley Spainhower, Ashley Shae Butley, Justin Brent Hargrove; great grandchildren, Sara Beth Wood, James Payton Wood, Tate Bradley Spainhower, Julia Christine Spainhower, Rhyan Alexander Schaff; sisters, Patricia Smith of Kaufman. Services were held 2:30PM Monday April 2, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Forney.
