Margaret Bersterman

Margaret Elizabeth Bersterman, 69, loving mother of 6 children, 18 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren , passed away Thursday, August 4th, 2011. Service will be held at: 10am on Monday, August 8th at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Highway 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182. Visitation will be at New Hope on Sunday, August 7th, from 2pm until 4pm. Margaret was born in Baltimore, Maryland, then moved to Texas with her family in 1969. Her husband, Donald L Bersterman, her sister, Pauline Marotta, and her brother, Smith Wynegar, preceded Margaret in death. Survivors include children, Brenda Bersterman Rodriguez, Donald Bersterman, Joseph Bersterman, Margaret Bersterman Skaer, Kellie Bersterman Marshall, and Tracie Bersterman True, along with the 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Dorothy Marie, Delores, Gloria, Patricia, and one brother, Joe Wynegar. She had a heart of gold, a wonderful sense of humor, and a deep love for her family and friends. She will be missed greatly, but we know she is in the hands of the Lord.
