MARCUS WAYNE LEWIS JR.
At the age of 49, Marcus Wayne Lewis Jr had his promised homecoming with our Lord and Savior on June 27, 2023.
Mark grew up in Dallas, TX with his Great-Grandmother Essie and his younger sibling Brenda Meador. Mark attended Bryan Adams High School. He spent 23 years with his wife Carisa, the love of his life. He spent many years working as a carpenter before moving on to getting his water license working at NTMWD where he worked for the past 10 years with the respect of his bosses and colleagues.
Mark was very patriotic, he was loyal to God, Country and loved ones. Loyalty was a very important trait to Mark. He was very passionate about the things and people he believed in and loved and would always be the first to be there when anyone needed him.
Mark was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.
Mark was preceded in death by his brother Randall Wayne Lewis, his Father Marcus Wayne Lewis Sr as well as his Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
He is survived by his wife Carisa (Hogan) Lewis, his Mother Charlotte Grindele, his sisters Brenda Meador and Kim Lynch, his brother Shawn Lewis, his half-sister Brandi Merrill , his great aunt and uncle Robert and Mary Hunt as well as many loved aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He is also survived by Art Hogan and his wife Cindy, Roberta Hogan, Patricia Donovan, Leann Manning, Ryan Donovan and Grace Donovan.
His love, sense of humor, loyalty and strength will be sorely missed.
