Lynda Stansbury

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lynda Lou Stansbury, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Lynda was born on June 29, 1944, in Kilgore, Texas, and departed this life peacefully on March 8, 2025, in Dallas Texas, at the age of 80, due to natural causes.

Lynda dedicated her career to the beauty and skin care industry as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant and Director, where she touched the lives of many through her expertise and passion for helping others feel their best. Her commitment to excellence and the relationships she built during her years of service exemplified her character.

She is survived by her devoted husband, William (Bill) Stansbury; daughter Colleen Vaughan; son in law Rick Vaughan; son Brandon Kaufman; and daughter-in-law Alecia Kaufman; step daughter Heather McKee; son in law James McKee; step daughter Holly Beard. Lynda cherished her role as a grandmother to Haley Kuhlmann, Austin Vaughan, Ali Vaughan, Kyle Kaufman, Conner Vaughan, Kamryn Kaufman, Tucker Winkleman, Madi Phelps, and Bethany Stansbury. She held a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren: Landry Kuhlmann, Kali Kuhlmann, and Eirick Lewellen and Farragh Lopez. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Becca Shelton, brother-in-law Ike Shelton along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Lynda's life and legacy will be held on March 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Lakepointe Forney. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and share in the love she so generously gave.

Following her wishes, Lynda will be cremated, and her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Visiting Nurse Association at www.vnatexas.org in memory of Lynda Lou Stansbury. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Lynda was preceded in death by: Earl Gillen, Myrtle Gillen and Glenda Brothers.
