`Prince, Lynda Ann (Butler) This Earth has lost one of its Heavenly Angels.Lynda was born on January 26, 1949 and passed away peacefully in Rockwall on November 26, 2010 at the age of 61.She was a devoted wife, mother, Mimi and friend to all.She cherished family above all else. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, her husband of 42 years, Barry Joe; her daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Trey Clifton; and her grandson the light of her life, Asher Cole Clifton. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Louis and Annette Butler and her second Grandchild, Kason Gray Clifton. Lynda attended Bryan Adams High School where she was introduced to her love, Barry.They graduated in 1967.Lynda and Barry were married one year later on November 2, 1968 and enjoyed 42 wonderful years together. On October 25, 1982, Lynda and Barry decided to become parents and welcomed their daughter Patricia Angela into their family through means of adoption.Lynda thought that this was the best decision she had ever made and felt that her family was now complete.Patricia was showered with an abundance of love and kindness that only a mother could give. Lynda was a long time employee of the United States Federal Government and worked as a Records Manager for Immigration and Naturalization Service.She retired from Federal Service in 1995 due to an on-the-job injury sustained in Miami in May of 1990. Lynda fulfilled a life-long dream on July 26, 2009; she became a Mimi.She welcomed her grandson, Asher Cole, with open arms.On August 04, 2010 her daughter Patricia gave birth to Kason Gray who was welcomed into the gates of heaven in the arms of our Lord. Lynda was a woman with a substantial heart and tremendous strength.She loved like there was no tomorrow and she never met a stranger.In her final years, she endured a multitude of aliments that continuously tested her faith.Despite her own trials and tribulations, she battled through her pain and suffering to insure that her family was taken care of.Lynda believed that she would return home to God and would be given the gift of being reunited with her mother, father and beloved grandbaby.She touched many lives and her memory will endure the test of time. She was the best wife, mother, Mimi and friend that anyone could ask for.We love you and will miss you tremendously until we meet again. Viewing will be on November 29, 2010 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
