Lula Mae Wilbanks

Lula Mae Wilbanks, 88, was born on September 20, 1927 and passed away on August 25, 2016. Lula is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Aaron Matthew Wilbanks, parents, William and Sallie Goolsby, and 11 brothers and sisters. Lula is survived by her son, William Wilbanks Sr., grandchildren: William Wilbanks Jr. and wife Wendy Wilbanks, Misty Michael and husband Ken Michael, great grandchildren: Megan Wilbanks, Colby Wilbanks, Madison Wilbanks, Steeli Wilbanks, Justin Michael, McKinley Michael, great great grandchild, Brinlyn Wilbanks, brother, Harold Goolsby, sister, Jerlene Thompson, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. A visitation will be held for Lula on Sunday August 28, 2016 from 2:00PM-4:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 29, 2016 at 11:00AM at North Cities United Pentecostal Church 502 Belt Line Road Garland, Texas 75040 with interment to follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Balch Springs.
