Lucille Haas, age 96, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 in the comfort of her home in Forney, Texas. From her birth in Redwood Falls, MN, on October 13, 1920 to her death on Friday she had gone on many adventures with her family. She loved selfishly to all she had met. She worked in the medical field and enjoyed taking care of others.She was a very talented and artistic women who shared her love for the arts with family and friends. She was an amazing cook too. If you came to her home you always had to sit down to eat her home cooking or you were in trouble.She was one of seven siblings born to Wilbur and Emma Tetrick. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and by her sister Merlie McDougal and survived in death by her five brothers, Roger Tetrick, Russell Tetrick, Dewey Tetrick, Kenny Tetrick, and Chuck Tetrick. She is survived by her husband Richard H. Haas of 67 years and her son Richard W. Haas. It was love at first sight because shortly after they met they were married on October 16, 1949.They lived a full and adventurous life together and on September 17, 1961 her bundle of joy was born. As their son grew up they went on many family trips together, enjoying life and one another.She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kristen Hailey, Keenan Haas, and Nicolas Haas and two great grandchildren, Noah Johnston and Shanell Johnston whom also go to experience many of their grandmas teachings, talents, love, and the greatest cooking in the world! She is also survived by many nieces, nephews,cousins, and other family members. She truly had a special place in all her family's hearts and will be dearly missed but never forgotten! Until we meet again! A memorial service will be held at New Hope 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182 Sunday November 27, 2016 @ 1pm
