Lucile Belle Nichols was born in Summerfield, Texas on December 22,1909 the third child of Jesse Alonzo Nichols and Grace Lamb. She went into the Lords presence in Mesquite, Texas on December 11, 2010. She never married. She was preceded in death by her parents and all other siblings: brothers, William Frances, James Alfred, Ralph Marion, and Irwin Earl; sisters, Helen, Dorothy, and Janice. She is survived by twelve nieces and five nephews. Lucile accepted Christ as her Savior during the 1920s. She served as a nurse anesthetist in Egypt under the American Mission Hospital from 1935 until 1939 and later from 1945 until 1952. She was a world traveler. In retirement, she volunteered at Write Way Prison Ministries, Garland, TX where brother, Ralph Nichols, was President.Ralph and Helen May Nichols, a niece, took excellent care of her. As her earthly journey was ending she eagerly looked forward to seeing her Savior.
