Louis Reginald Curtis June 4, 1931 to December 13, 2012 Survived by his son Steve Curtis and wife Brenda, daughter Nita and husband Don Tucker. Grandchildren: Michael Curtis, Christy Logan and husband Chris,Brandon Tucker and wife Stephanie, Michelle Curtis Edwards and husband Jason, Aaron Curtis and wife Nicki, Jonathan-Micah Curtis, Andrew Curtis, Ashley Sharp Spotts and husband Keenan, Kyle Sharp, AJ Sharp and wife Skye.Fourteen Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Majors Curtis; son Bryan Curtis; mother Claire Anderton Curtis; and father Robert Eldon Curtis. Louis Reg Curtis retired after 26 years from the Dallas Police Department in 1981, he also served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean war where he was aerial photographer.Reg Curtis Graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Abilene Christian College with a degree in Criminal Science. He was an avidsportsman, loved to play golf, tennis, fishing, table tennis, and many other sports. He was a pitcher for the Marines and the DPD in fast pitch softball for many years and loved the game. He taught many of us how to play sports with integrity. He was a life member of Lakeview Christian Church. He worked in the Casa Linda/ Casa View areas most of his life. He has been an influence on many and will be remembered as a great father, family member, and friend. Service will be 12:00Noon " Wednesday December 19, 2012 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. Family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 11:00AM to 12:00Noon. Interment 2:15PM Wednesday 12/19/12 @ DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
