Loretta Faye Robertson

Loretta (Rita) B. Robertson was born on September 2, 1941.Affectionately known as “Ganny” to her family, she passed away on June 1, 2017 after a hard-fought battle with Leukemia.Rita was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Dorothy Barnes, sister Dora Barnes, and daughters Sally McCurdy and Marye Robertson.She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Billy Robertson, children Tammy Pocrnich, Ricky Nichols, Jack Robertson, and Gloria Holmes, 9 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters Barbara Baker, Margaret Barnett, Alyce Peterman, and Judy Sullivan along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM also at New Hope Funeral Home and interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Ganny’s medical team and all loved ones who kept her in their thoughts and prayers throughout her treatment.
