Lois Esther Smith

SMITH, Lois Esther of Dallas, born March 1, 1927, passed away January 1, 2010. Lois was a loving compassionate wife and mother. She was a Christian woman and the love of her life was teaching Sunday School and other activities at Open Door Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Willis & Hester Meeks; son, Frenton (Matt) Smith, Jr.; sisters, Mary Ann Meeks and Rachel Swindler; brother, Joe Meeks; sister-in-law, Lou Meeks. Survived by husband of 66 years, Frenton M. Smith, Sr.; children, Patricia Lynn Schick and Stephen L. (Steve) Smith; grandchildren, Lori Diane Ellison, Daniel Smith and Jennifer Michelle Smith. Service will be 11:00AM Wednesday January 6, 2010 at Open Door Baptist Church, 1212 S. Beltline Rd., Mesquite, TX. 75149. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Red Cross, Salvation Army or other charities.
