Lois was born in Arkansas but spent most of her life in Pleasant Grove, and Mesquite. Her career began with 30 years of service at Dal Tile, and ended with over a decade of welcoming guests to The Vale Counseling Center. Lois and R.D. raised ther children at Bethany Baptist Church until moved to First Baptist Sunnyvale in 1994.
She was loving, warm, and lived a life pointed to Jesus. She sang in the church choir faithfully and enjoyed a simple night at home or playing with her granddaughters. Cooking and caring for others, was her joy, and anyone who has tried he banana pudding or chocolate pie can speak to that.
To continue to honor her life, the Lois Ivy Memorial Counseling Fund has been established.
