Lloyd Dean Wingfield, Jr. was born on August 9th, 1956, in Dallas,TX, and passed away on February 26th, 2020, in Forney, TX. He is preceded in death by parents Lloyd Dean Wingfield, Sr. and Edna Janean Wingfield, Grandparents, many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, and special Cousin Shannon Paul. He is survived by Wife of 31 years, Kathy Wingfield, Son Bradley Thompson, Grandson Anthony Thompson, Sister Staci Wingfield Fortenberry and Husband Doug of Arkansas, Nephew Jason Thornton and Wife Alison of Allen, Texas, Niece Shelbi Roughton and Husband Brandon, and Great Nephew Owen Roughton of Arkansas, Burt Thornton and Family, Kyle and Chase Fortenberry, Uncle Darrell Hayes and Family, and a host of extremely close, loving cousins, and friends that he considered brothers. Lloyd (Butch) was known in the poker circuit as "Jack 10 Lloyd", and in 1988 was a Texas Hold 'Em Champion in California. Lloyd owned and operated an Antique Mall in Forney, TX where he was a licensed Auctioneer. Lloyd enjoyed acquiring and selling sports memorabilia, spending time with those closest to him, and fishing. In any conversation Lloyd had, he was always full of jokes and laughter, even during his many stays in hospitals. Lloyd adored his grandson, Anthony Thompson, and cherished every second he was able to spend with him. Lloyd was a devout Christian, so we are certain that he is now bringing laughter and smiles to Heaven, and spending time with loved ones, and the poker greats that he admired.
