Linda Parks Carr

Linda P. Carr, our Beloved “Nana,” gained her wings Friday, June 29, 2018, after a lengthy illness.She was born August 1, 1956.Nana was surrounded by her loving family as Our Lord welcomed her Home. Those who knew Nana understand well what it means to have someone enter their lives and have such a profound effect from her loving, caring and nurturing influence.Family relationships are closer and stronger, and friendships are closer and more dear. Life was so much brighter and more fun when Nana was around.She prepared us all to carry on her work through her never-ending Love of Faith, Family and Friends.We will miss her dearly, until we meet again. She is survived by her husband, Scott;two children, Cathy and husband, Patrick Zmolik, Jason Parks and wife Kristi, stepson, Geoffrey Carr; four grandchildren (the Loves of her life) Piper, River, Caitlin and Samantha; three sisters, Nancy Gamble and husband, Jim, Donna Rodriguez, and Ruth Swan; and many nieces and nephews. Nana is preceded in death by her father, John Ray Mays, and mother, Emma Gene Mays. Family and Friends will celebrate her life on Friday, July 6, 2018, at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX at 12:00 Noon.Visitation is scheduled Thursday, July 5th from 5 – 7 PM.
