Lillian Myrle Good Luttrell
Another member of the “Greatest Generation” has passed to eternal life at the age of 97 ½.
She was born as Lillian Myrle Good in Warsaw, Texas in July 1923. Parents were Leo, Sr. and Willie Wright Good.
She was the oldest of six children. Sister Hilda Good Crain and brothers, Leo Good, Jr., James Good, Don Good all deceased, and Lowell Good, living.
She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1941.
She married Carl Ernest Luttrell in January 1943 and together they had three children.
She loved to travel, fish, crochet, and cooked many fabulous meals. She retired from Texas Power & Light in 1975 after 20 years of service and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Mesquite, TX.
She has many family members and dear friends who will miss her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, brothers, husband, and daughter Lori Kay Luttrell.
Survivors are: Linda Luttrell Johnson and Steve and Arlene Luttrell; 4 Granddaughters, Kelly Copeland, Jamie Copeland, Valerie Mayad, and Kim Penney; 8 Great Grandchildren; and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, and family members.
Visitation will be from 11am until 1 pm, Monday, April 12, 2021 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75128
