Lewanna Faye Cathey

Lewanna Faye Cathey, 72, of Mesquite, TX passed away peacefully Saturday, May 11th, 2019. She was born May 8th, 1947 to Sneed and HylaTribble in Dallas, TX. Lewanna was proceeded in death by both her parents as well as her oldest brother, Leland Tribble. Survived by husband, Joe Cathey; son, Brandon Cathey and wife, Lindsey; brother, Ronnie Tribble, and wife Pat; sister-in-law, Barbara Tribble, and many nieces and nephews. Lewanna always looked on the bright side of life and always wore a warm smile. She made friends everywhere she went and left a lasting impression on those she met. She renewed her faith to the Lord Jesus Christ in 2017 and was re-baptized.
