Leta Fay Smith was born October 23, 1921 in Grand Saline, Texas to James and Ruth Rodgers. She passed away on June 26, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband Glen Smith of 66 years and 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by daughter Glenda Pruitt, son Glenn Smith and his wife Darline; grandchildren: Stephanie Pruitt, Stephen Pruitt and wife Steavy; great grandchildren: Ryanne Tidwell, Grayson Tidwell, Harley Pruitt, Elijah Lamanna, and Nathan Lamanna. Also survived by brother, Rip Rodgers and wife Jean; sisters: Annie Ruth Sides, Eunice Coffman, Elsie Hill and husband Sam and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 14500 FM 17, Grand Saline, TX 75140. The family will receive friends at New Hope Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
