Leonard Herold Davis, 76, of Balch Springs, TX, died Saturday June 14, 2014. He was born to the late Lavern Henry and Grace Marie Fleming, February 17, 1938, in Dallas, Texas. Leonard was a passionate Husband and loving father.Leonard worked for the City of Dallas for 14 years and after retirement, worked at Dominos and as a title runner to stay around people. Leonard was an active member of Colonial Baptist Church. He loved playing dominos with the guys and spending time with his family. Leonard is survived by his wife DiAnn Davis, his children Donna Noblitt and husband Dennis, Judy Bowles and husband Leroy, Lavern Davis, Cindy Brown and Husband Jamie, and Leonard Davis.He is also survived by his 10 Grandchildren; Ashley Brown, David Noblitt, Jonathon Noblitt, Tasha Bewely, Allissa Davis, James Brown IV, Hunter Brown, Samantha Brown, Trinton Davis, and Kelsey Davis.He is also survived by 3 Great-Grandchildren Lila Brown, Landyn Bewely, Cassandra Bewely and by many Nieces and Nephews. He is survived by one brother Lester Davis and his wife Sally. He was proceeded in death by his brother William Davis and Sister in Law Billie Lou Davis. A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday June 19th at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday at 1pm on June 20th at Colonial Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.Burial will be held at New Hope Cemetery following the service.
