Lena "Baby" Lloyd

It is with great sadness that the family of Lena Lloyd announces her passing after a brief illness, on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the age of 68 years. Her husband, of 51 years, Travis Lloyd, will lovingly remember Lena along with their children, Nick and Rhonda Smith, Brian and Tammie Whipple, and a bonus daughter Mandy Roe.Lena will also be fondly remembered by her two grandchildren, Shea and Trevor Smith, her sister, Georgia Brown, brothers, Franklin and Danny Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Dovie Brown. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018, from 6 to 8 PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, TX. The home-going celebration on Thursday, May 31, 2018 will be at 2:00 PM at New Life Church, Garland, TX, with Rev. Shannon Stanley officiating. Interment the following day at DFW National Cemetery will be a private family affair.
