Lemuel Norris Finley

FINLEY, Lemuel Norris of Forney, born September 28, 1919, passed away July 6, 2009. Prececed in death by mother and father,a brother,two sisters and a niece. Survived by wife, Ruth Finley; sister, Arlene & husband, Lyndel Savage of Mesquite; Kaycey Bruhn & husband, Eric, of Forney; 3 great grandchildren, Tori, Laney, Kolby; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 2:00PM - Wednesday July 8, 2009 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Our dearest husband, brother, uncle and Papa, your time on earth has come to an end and our lives will have a great void where you once were. We will miss you very much but we know we must let you go. You have lived a full life doing many things that you enjoyed so much. We have peace in knowing that you have gone home to meet Jesus and that we will see you again. You were a faithful servant to your country and family. You love of many things has left an imprint in the next generation and we will continue to pass that on. Until we see you again, our love.
