Lea Mata

Lea Mata of Mesquite Texas was born May 24, 1929 in Kosse, Texas and went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends on, Saturday January 16th, 2016. From the time of her birth, Lea was a beloved bright light in the lives of those blessed to know her. Lea was a loving mother and grandmother to her children. Lea was preceded in death by her mother, Eduviges Guerrero Mata, father, Miguel Mata, brothers Reverend Ishmael Mata and Miguel Mata, sisters Dora Arechiga, Stella Mata and Maria Canales. She is survived by daughter Minerva Gonzales, and husband Julian Gonzales, grandson JD Gonzales, granddaughter Jordan Gonzales. Daughter Mary Estrada, husband Justino Estrada, grandchildren Enrique Estrada, wife Ana Estrada, Melinda Estrada, Adrianna Estrada & Priscilla Estrada. Great grandchildren, Miranda Estrada, Celeste Estrada, Lexi Lopez, Madelyn Estrada , Sophie Estrada and ahost of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 22nd from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas.Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23rd, 10:00AM at the funeral home.Interment to follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, Texas.
