Larry Don Oliver

Larry Don Oliver was born in Dallas, Texas on September 14, 1951. Larry entered Heaven’s door on May 13, 2021. He was 69 years old. Larry fought a 15 year battle with Parkinson's.

Larry had a good life. He was honored to work for 25 years with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department as a Detective. He loved football! He loved playing for Bryan Adams High School Cougars! He went to the University of Texas and loved his Longhorns! He had season tickets and was a Lifetime member of Texas Exes Association.

Larry was a pilot. He loved flying for work and pleasure. He was a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He had many stories of his love for flying.

Larry was a member of Sons of the American Legion. He loved his Country and was so proud of his father and grandfather for their service.

Surviving are Margie Oliver and his son Jason Cody Oliver; sister Terri Johnson and husband Jerry; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends. Larry was very blessed with the people that were in his life.

Preceding Larry in death were his parents Wendell and Dorothy Oliver; sister Lynn Welch and husband Jerry Welch; grandparents Eric and Myrtle Oliver and Robert and Viola Tomme.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 20, 2021 at 2:00pm.
