Larry Timothy Cruise

Lawrence (Larry) Timothy Cruise, born December 17, 1959, in Houston Texas, passed from this world Thursday September 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Larry's strong faith, his commitment to doing the "right" thing in all he did and said, combined with his sharp wit, brilliant mind and compassion for people, created his strong appeal. Larry was not weighted down by an ego, his concern was never about how he looked, sounded, felt, or came across. This allowed him to invest his whole self in speaking, very directly, to others. His natural intuition gave him the unique quality of knowing the heart of people around him. In a word, he cared and you felt it. Larry is preceded in death by his biggest hero and Mother, Grace Peters Cruise, Father, William Kennedy Cruise, Sister, Linda Cruise Callier, and Mother in law, Jarrene Pearce Higgins. He is survived by his wife, Kathrine Higgins Cruise, his greatest inspirations, his children, Son, Timothy Cruise and Daughter, Kaitlin Cruise, Sister, Nancy Cruise Parish, Brother in law, Rick Parish, and Father in law, Dr. K. Milton Higgins. Larry also leaves eight nieces and nephews, six great nieces and nephews, and countless friends. His relationship with us all was a powerful source in our lives, yet completely unique to each individual. His light will live in those he loved forever. Larry's life will be celebrated on Friday September 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Sunnyvale FBC. Officiated by Larry's dear friend, Pastor Charlie Wilson.
