L. Jannette Richardson

Richardson, Jannette was peacefully called home to our Lord and Savior on Friday April 6, 2012 doing what she loved, cooking for family, getting ready for Easter. Born 8/31/1936 in Ennis TX to Ned and Bessie Hawley, she graduated valedictorian at Forrest Ave High School in Dallas and Salutatorian at Decatur Baptist College. She worked 30 years for Western Union/ATT Business Services as an Executive Secretary. This exceptionally wise and wonderful woman called "HoneyGranny" was known for her servant heart and dedication to family, CareGivers Sunday School Class and numerous charities. Jannette is survived by her beloved husband Joe, her sons and daughters David Rains and Debra Wilson, Robert Richardson, Bobbie Kay Sudbury, Teresa May, Tommy Richardson, 13 Grandchildren Christopher Rains, Brian, Dennis, Brandi & Roy Wilson, Holly Anderson, Joseph May, Jimmie and Billy Jack Ford, William and Michael Richardson, Christina Labright and Patricia Neyer plus 15 great-grandchildren Victoria, Evelyn, Logan, Bella, Michael, Elizabeth, Alexis, Ian, Ivy, Jessica, Josh, Preston, Priseis, Kyra and Aerith & numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by two Siblings, Kenneth and Johnny Hawley and preceded in passing by her beloved sister Martha Jane Dean and brothers Alphie and Dub Hawley. Visitation will be held on Monday 6pm-8pm at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, TX and services to be held on Tuesday 2pm at Mimosa Lane Baptist Church, 1233 N. Belt Line Rd, Mesquite, TX
