Kurt was a very loving and nurturing husband to his wife Amy, the best and most adoring father to his boys, Brody and Kole and the greatest uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Some say he had that cool, John Wayne attitude, but to his family, he was "Mr. Mom". When he was not working, it was 100% family and his "hobby" was his them. He was a very hard worker, passionate about his profession, dependable and loved by the entire industry. Clients knew him on the show floor by his smile, his charm and his strong and familiar voice. His favorite greeting to some was "Hey Lady", which they loved. Kurt was an irreplaceable employee, the backbone of his parent's business. But there was so much more. Working with family isn't always easy but the Johnsons didn't let this get in the way. They were a loving and close family. Growing up, Kurt was always right behind Kevin, even as he got older. And later, Kurt followed right behind his mentor, his dad on the show floor. There is proof of this love in many ways, evidenced by his sentimental nature.
