Khin Ou Tang died peacefully at the age of 60 on December 14th, 2023, at her home in Forney, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer.
Khin was born on January 11th, 1963 in Pailin, Cambodia and raised by Ying Ong Thoun (née Van) and Ta Thoun. She immigrated to Midland, Texas in 1979 where she met her husband, Chong Tang. The two married on November 15th, 1981. Khin graduated from Midland High School and shortly after, began her career in the copy printing industry. She started at Reynolds & Son and eventually started her own business, KT Copy Service which successfully ran for more than a decade. In 2007, Khin made the decision to retire and dedicate her time to her husband and children.
Besides spending time with her family, Khin enjoyed growing plants, doing yoga and cycling, meditating, cooking, and watching Thai TV shows. She was a social butterfly and had a bright and energetic personality with an infectious laugh that could uplift others. Khin's ability to serve and help others before her touched many lives and has always been remembered.
Khin is survived by her loving husband, Chong Tang. Her children, Kuang Tang and his wife, Stephanie Tang, Iline Tang Templeton and her husband, Josh Templeton and Lane Tang.
Grandchildren, Miles Tang, Mia Tang, Madison Templeton, and Layla Templeton. Additionally, she is survived by Ta Thoun, her three sisters, Latanya Diodato and her husband and three kids; Yupin Thoun-Winfree and her husband and two sons; and Linda Thoun Maxwell and her husband and daughter.
