Kevin Langley

February 9, 1987 — December 19, 2024

In loving memory and with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved son, Kevin Blake Langley, on December 19th, 2024.  Though his time here on this earth was short, his memory will stay with us forever in our hearts. We were blessed to spend 37 years with him and experience his warmth, love and kindness for everyone he met. Kevin had an unwavering love for his family, friends and especially his fur babies and all other animals. He had a huge heart and touched the lives of all who met him. He never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh.

Kevin was born on February 9, 1987, in Dallas, Texas to parents Larry and Kim Langley. He graduated from Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas and continued his education and graduated Summe Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a Bachelors of Business Administration.  After college Kevin went on to work for BP Oil on the coast and later worked with his dad and others building sets and scenery for movies, commercials and special events. He was particularly proud of his work on the Christmas Village at the Dallas Arboretum.  He had such a sense of adventure. He loved traveling, especially to Colorado and spending time with friends, family and his beloved dogs, Charlie and Emma. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Kim Langley; father, Larry Langley and wife Diona; sister, Lyndsi Martin and husband Wade; stepbrother, Josh Spencer and wife Kelli, stepbrother, Keldon Langley; nephews, Colby Clouse, and Karsyn Martin; nieces, Channing Martin, and Charlee Martin. He is also survived by his grandparents, Dale Row, Jerry and Linda Adams; aunt, Tracy Wilson; uncles, Shane Wilson, Steve Langley; and cousins, Heather and Justin French, and Hannah Wilson; and many beloved family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Row; grandparents, Louise and Doyle (DL) Langley; uncles, Rick Adams and Doyle E. Langley; great-grandparents, Dorothy Chance, Spec and Annie Rue Adams, and Frank and Ethel Dennis.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Kevin's love and passion for animals, if you would like to donate something in his honor, please make a donation to any Animal Rescue organization of your choice. His favorite show was to watch "Lucky Dog" on animal training and rescue.

The "Celebration of Life" for Kevin will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at 11:00AM at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyvale, Texas. There will be a visitation preceding the service from 10-11:00 AM on the same day.
