Kenneth Davenport, age 67, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, in Plano, TX, surrounded by loved ones. He had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer, which he faced with courage and grace, just as he lived his life.

Kenneth was born on December 31, 1956, in Mesquite, TX, to Edward Glenn Davenport and Lena Davenport. He graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1975. After high school, Kenneth embarked on a career in food sales, dedicating himself to working for various food suppliers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He retired in June 2023 after decades of hard work and dedication to his profession.

In 1976, Kenneth married Sandra Morgan, with whom he shared over 30 years and raised two children, Wayne Davenport and Morgan (Davenport) Foust. Family was always central in Kenneth's life, and he particularly cherished time with his two grandsons, Myles Davenport and Bentley Foust, who brought him endless joy. Kenneth was also an outdoorsman, finding relaxation in hunting trips.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Wayne Davenport and his wife Amber, and Morgan Foust and her husband Austin; his grandsons, Myles Davenport and Bentley Foust; his ex-wife, Sandra Davenport; his four brothers; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward Glenn Davenport and Lena Davenport.

A man of warmth and kindness, Kenneth will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his loyalty to friends, and his quiet strength. His legacy of love and resilience will live on in the lives of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Kenneth's name to American Veterans/AMVETS, Scottish Rite for Children, or a cancer charity of your choice, honoring his spirit and his love for helping others.

Kenneth will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
