Kenneth Wayne Cox, Sr. 82, died Saturday, April 4, 2015 peacefully at home. Mr. Cox was born April 9, 1932 in Avery, Texas. He was a retired contractor. He was a 32nd degree mason. Mr. Cox was survived by his mother, Della Corene Cox; brothers, Jimmy Cox, Wayburn Cox, Aubrey “Cooky” Cox; children, Kenneth Cox Jr., Judy Cox Martin; grandchildren, Renay McAfee & husband Kyle McAfee, Angela Martin & husband Charlie Sanders; great grandchildren, Kyleigh McAfee & Ryleigh Martin; his beloved cat. Preceded by his father, Elmer Cox “Dump”; sister, Linda Cox Day; brother in law, David Day. Memorial service will be 12Noon Friday April 10, 2015 at New Hope Funeral Home. Reception to follow at The Cox’s home in Sunnyvale.
