Keith David Lawyer

LAWYER, Keith David passed away from lung cancer in Honolulu, Hawaii and entered into Heaven January 4, 2005.His father and twin sister were at his side. He is survived by his parents, Albert and Bonnie Lawyer of Mesquite; spouse, Sue Gulledge of Honolulu, his twin sister, Debbie Edwards of Mesquite, sister, Michelle Young & husband Russell Young of Bryan, TX. several nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was born March 16, 1960, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and had lived in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1987 until his death.He owned Eurocare Auto Care, which he had recently closed in order to pursue a new career in the computer and networking field.He was a valued member of IATN, International Automotive Technicians Network, an organization of almost 50,000 members.In September 2004, he won the "Member of the Year" award, and was runner-up for the award in 2002.Also mourning his death is a host of friends he made in the network who admired, loved, and respected him.Many of them never met Keith in person, but all held him in high esteem.He always made time to help them with solutions to problems that were well reasoned, researched, and referenced.He will be sorely missed. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Memorial services will be 2:00PM Saturday, January 22, 2005, at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel.
