Karen Ann Neveling, 58, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Royse City, TX.

Karen was born on November 18, 1964 in Dallas, TX, to parents Kenneth and Betty Vanderwoude.

Karen graduated from Skyline High School in 1983 and went on to study accounting. She started her career as an Accountant and went on to work for Compucom for many years.

Karen married David Neveling on February 18, 2000 in Rockwall, TX.  Karen had 2 children, Kimberly Gilpin and Justin Gilpin.

Among Karen's favorite interests, she was best known for her love of rock and roll music, the Dallas Cowboys and bowling.

Karen is survived by her husband, David Neveling of Royse City; daughter, Kimberly Gilpin; son, Justin Gilpin; mother, Betty Vanderwoude; grandchildren, Alexa Cazares, Jacob Cazares, Emily Cazares, Matthew Gilpin, Quentin Gilpin, Bennett Gilpin, William and Sam Avila.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Vanderwoude; and her aunt, Jeanette Day.

The services for Karen Neveling will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyvale, TX.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, November 9, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home - Stateroom A.

Burial will be at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, TX.
