June Puett

Mr. June Earl Puett, age 67 passed away on October 8, 2024. June was born on September 4, 1957, in Dallas, TX. He was a retired welder/pipefitter with the Local 100 in Dallas, TX. After retiring he started Magician's Cleaning Solutions, a floor and upholstery cleaning company.

June or "Bear" to the grandchildren, loved going to their sporting events and just hanging out with them. He had a special gift of engaging with children and was beloved by his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the outdoors and going on Beavers Bend trips with his family and hiking all the trails. He loved to joke and tease, had a quick smile and a contagious belly laugh.

June had a strong, unwavering faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved sharing his faith with family, friends and strangers (even though he never met a stranger!). Attending Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Dallas, TX for over 50 years, he served in countless roles including with the youth, security and as a Deacon. One of his greatest gifts was his servant's heart and he was always ready to help others.

He was preceded in death by his parents June and Letha Puett of Dallas, TX and his first wife Debbie Riggs Puett originally from Nashville, AR. He is survived by his wife, Colleen McWilliams Puett of Royse City, TX, daughter Amanda Puett and husband Daniel Huffines of Bells, TX, grandchildren Colton, Sadie, Luke and Mason Huffines, sisters Jule Maxwell of Dallas, TX and Patti Bozada of Pittsburgh, PA as well of many dear friends and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, 9810 LaPrada, Dallas, TX 75228. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at Shiloh Terrace Baptist with the service following at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be held on October 19, 2024, at Restland Memorial Park, Mine Rd., Nashville, AR at 10am.
