DLABAJ, Julia Elizabeth of Mesquite, born February 28, 1911, passed away July 18, 2007. Mrs. Dlabaj may have been small in stature, but she was used to everything being very large.She was born February 28, 1911 to a family of 19 children. Sixteen siblings survived in the small town of West, Texas.Mrs. Dlabaj was married in 1939.She and her husband had 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys.She had 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson. Mrs. Dlabaj was employed by HL Greens as a Pet Manager until she retired at the age of 62.Her favorite past time was going to her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's football, baseball and basketball games.She also enjoyed playing bingo and a little known fact that many did not know is that she LOVED Wrestling.She went on many occasions to the Sportatorum in Dallas to see the live wrestling and don't you dare tell her any of it was fake! She was very dear to everyone and for those of you who weren't as fortunate to know her as well as her family and friends did - she was an amazing woman and one of God's precious Angels. Preceded in death by husband, Charlie Anton Dlabaj; grandson, Jerry Don Glass; parents, John & Mary Dvoracek and siblings. Survived by children, Shirley Glass, Leo & Sharon Dlabaj, Louise Parrish, Bobby & Susan Dlabaj, James & Joy Dlabaj; 10 grandchildren, Gary Parrish, Charles Dlabaj, Theresa Herron, Charlene Wadsworth, Bobby Dlabaj, Jr., Tonya Dlabaj, James Ray Dlabaj, Daunita Leach, Blake Dlabaj, Kyle Dlabaj; 12 great grandchildren, Brandon Parrish, Amber Dlabaj, Christopher Dlabaj, Paige Parrish, Duston Wadsworth, Dylan Herron, James Lane Wadsworth, Meagan Leach, Ty Watson, Megan Wadsworth, Devon Leach, Owen James Dlabaj; 1 great great grandchild, Landon Parrish; sisters, Betty Payne, Tracy Morse; several nieces and nephews. Famiy will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4:00PM to 6:00PM with Rosary held at 6:00PM. Service will be 10:00AM Monday July 23, 2007 at New Hope Funeral Home, with graveside to follow at 1:00PM at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ennis, TX.
