Judy Marie Arrington also known as Mama, Madre, Ms. Judy, Big Booty Judy, and the G.O.A.T (Greatest of All Time) Nana. After living 69 astonishing years on this beautiful earth, Judy entered her eternal life on September 21st 2019. Judy was born on April 25th 1950 in Dallas TX, to Birdie Mae and Jack Burt. Ever since Judy could remember her number one want in life was to be a Mother, when she was a little girl she cherished her siblings and took pride in taking care of them. Judy's life work was always about giving something back, she loved working in the medical field and at the pharmacy. Judy never took any job of hers lightly, when she worked at the schools in the cafeteria she took honor and control in making sure NO ONE ever missed lunch even ifthey didn’t have money she would even make sure they had a cookie or an ice cream. Just in doing that she changed and touched so many life’s that still thank her for it today. Judy did many tremendous things, one that stood out was her tell it like it is attitude. You may not had wanted to hear it, or like what she had to say but shewas sure to keep it real with you. If she didn’t like something, she was quick to say it! Judy loved so hard, and her family was #1 to her, she didn’t always have money and gifts to give but what she gave was LOVE!! Judy was a woman of God, a woman of faith and a woman of love, if she was there you got it all, faith, love, laughter and so much more. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years Johnny Arrington, brothers Ralph Cameron and Louis Jack Burt, sister Georgia Cameron daughter Ashley Marie Arrington, grandson Keith "Tooter" Witherspoon and other loved ones. Judy’s legacy lives on with her sister Edith Daniel children; Stacy and David Witherspoon, Sheila and Brandon Billings, Taylor Reed, and Thesa Chambers. Grandchildren; Kendell Dotson, Brayden Reed, London Reed, Krystal and Brent Williams, Kandace and Todd Dillon, Rachael and Chris Murff, Chelsea and David Witherspoon, Crystal and Josh Herrera, Amber and Spencer Billings, Heather Billings and many more that called her Nana. Lastly but one of the most precious to her was her Great-Grands; Rusty, Ryder, Issiah, Roman, Karter, Kingston, Alanah, Ty, Kaydence, Gabe, Aaleigh, Wyatt, Amethyst, and Artimis along with multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, and family of choice. We want to give a special thank you to her boyfriend, Bud Davis for being a part of her life she was truly happy. This is Judy’s very proud Legacy and through all of you is how it will continue to grow. As Judy would say God is good all the time.
