Juanita was the only surviving sibling of seven children born to James Cleveland and Thelmer Lou Steward. At a very young age, the family moved to Dallas where she grew up. Her life was dedicated to her two strongest loves: her family and her church. For her entire life, she was a steady rock, faithful and true to her faith. In the good times, and the bad times, she kept her eye on the goal of living for Jesus Christ and making her landing sure when her mission in life was complete. Her life speaks for itself, and every person who knew her, knew how genuine she was and how dedicated she was. I was privileged to be her best friend, and she was the apple of my eye. As God meant it to be, she kept me first in her life, after God. We served God together, and she was my faithful companion as we lived our lives. We learned to correct our mistakes, raise our head high and get better as we traveled lifes road together. Although we were not perfect, our love was perfected as we went along. The memories will be remembered as the days come, and they, along with Gods faithfulness will sustain the family she leaves behind. All of her family will increase their understanding of just how great she was, and how steady her influence was in our family and among all of our friends. Juanitas greatest compassion was helping everyone who came to her church, Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Mesquite, to discover how great her church was, and how God would help them to grow into a true born again Christian if they would fall in love with her church. She was a true believer, and as her husband, I enjoyed discussing God with her, and studying the Bible with her. She was fully persuaded of her faith, and it proved to sustain her to the end of her life. Now she has reached her goal, and she will receive her just reward. I am very proud to have been her loving companion, and although I will miss her with pain and sorrow, her passing on strengthens my own goal of reuniting with her again. I love you Juanita, and I will miss you. -Charles Fuller
