Joseph Edward Ortiz

July 1, 1984 — March 10, 2019

With deepest sorrow, we are here to celebrate the life of Joseph Edward Ortiz. Joe was born in Dallas Texas July 1st, 1984. He was known as Daddy, Son, Uncle Joe, Mijo, Big little bro, Joe Joe, Joey, Best friend, Brother-in-law, Bazooka Joe, Smoking Joe, Hostess and sometimes grumpy butt.He was loved by many!We know Joe is now with his Nana, Lou Tully and Paw Paw Joe Ed Tully as well as his Grandma Ramona Ortiz. Joe's friends that had passed before him werealso at the gates of Heaven waiting joyful to see him. Joe will be missed by his daughter Chasity Ortiz and son Ayden Ortiz, his father George, mother and step dad Laurie and Cal, his brother Marcus and wife Jena, his brother Nick and wife Cindy, step sister Sarah Gillam, nieces Xamera, Kyndra, Isabella and soon to be Everly and nephews Nick and Cadyn and many aunts, uncles and cousins, We all know Joe loved his Dallas Cowboys. Here lately he really enjoyed smoking brisket on his new smoker. Man it sure was good to eat! He loved watching Chas and Ayden play sports and really loved spending time and watching movies with both of them. He was really good at the game Fanatical also known as Farkle. He liked to be at the pool, jamming music, free-styling and playing fantasy football. He liked watching all of his nieces and nephews play ball. He loved playing with his Bella also, But most of all he loved being surrounded by his family and many friends. Joe had the biggest heart of most. He was such a character and was the life of the party. He was a jokester but would be there at any moment for anyone in need. Joe leaves behind a legacy of memories with so many and he will live in our hearts forever. On Joe's last night on this earth with us he ate a wonderful meal and afterwards laughed his socks off on the 8th row from center stage at the George Lopez comedy show with his brothers and friends. Cherish your friends and family never go a day without saying I Love You. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the link below for Joe's children Chasity and Ayden. https://www.paypal.me/ChasityandOrtiz
